Prefere Resins is a leading European manufacturer of phenolic, specialty urea and melamine resins. We also produce high-quality derivatives of methanol-(C1)-chemistry from such as paraformaldehyde, formaldehyde, and hexamethylene tetramine. As one of the global market leaders we supply our customers with a wide range of resins, basic chemical raw materials and additives - quickly and reliably from 14 production sites worldwide.

About your tasks:

• Leadership role for Financial Control, Accounting, Treasury and Taxes
• Oversee all financial activities within the Site
• Work closely with the Site Manager and the local leadership team
• Responsible for external financial reporting
• Manage the day to day financial activities
• Identify potential operational inefficiencies and propose remedy measures
• Drive the local execution of the business reporting cycle
• Responsible that the Site’s financial infrastructure is working efficiently and is compliant with all relevant regulations as well as in line with the Group’s Finance function’s standards
• Become a well-respected sparring partner for the management, consulting them on what’s driving the business and what levers to pull to increase performance
• You will be part of the international Financial Controller team and work closely with your colleagues, particularly in compliance with and implementation of group-wide standardized strategies

 This makes you successful with us:

• Master's degree in accounting and auditing, a higher diploma in accounting and management or a diploma with a specialization in finance and accounting (DCG, DSCG, Ecole de Commerce)
• Relevant experience in a Finance function such as Financial/Business Controller, Business Partner Finance
• Preferably experience in manufacturing
• Possess strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills
• Be an integral part of our groupwide Controller and Finance Network
• Pro-active, open and transparent, result oriented and structured way of working
• Excellent knowledge of French accounting standards and principles as well as IFRS
• Experience with ERP systems, Microsoft AX/ Dynamics 365 preferred and MS Office assumed
• Very good written and verbal communications skills in both French and English

Our company was founded in 1968.
