Mineral Wool

Insulation resins are used as binders in the production of glass and stone wool. The final wool products are used mainly in the building and construction industry for thermal and acoustic insulation, but are also used for technical insulation (heat resistant, acoustic, vibration insulation) e.g. by the automotive and shipbuilding industries. Insulation enables significant energy savings and is, thanks to growing environmental awareness and regulatory development, a growing application area globally.
