Four years have passed since the industry was last able to exchange information, discuss trends and technologies and to present their product highlights covering the paints and coatings market.

Also this year, and for the first time under the lead of Prefere Resins, Prefere Melamines and Prefere Paraform will be able to present their innovations to the coatings industry at the ECS in Nuremberg.

In addition to a broad portfolio of proven amino resins (MAPRENAL® and RESIMENE®), Prefere Melamines continues to focus on expanding its range of low and ultra-low formaldehyde products.

MAPRENAL BF 892 ULF, for example, is a benzoguanamine crosslinker  used primarily in internal and external food and beverage can coatings, which excels due to its high reactivity, excellent chemical resistance and flexibility, combined with an extremely low free formaldehyde content.

With SOLVALID DMM, Prefere Paraform has an environmentally friendly solvent and blowing agent in its portfolio, adding another high-performance product to its comprehensive range of offerings. The products based on C1 chemistry are an ideal starting point for our customers to meet the sustainability criteria of the future.
